and had Spiers measured . . . I was worried, big time!!!

Spiers must have gotten a little extra on the pitch he grounded back to the mound. Loved the location, up and in.

Strong ninth to close it out too!!!

Not sure why Monte elects to put in a cold RHP against a hard hitting lefty with the bases loaded that late in the game. We're lucky it worked out in our favor.

Because in that moment you got to go with your best pitxher bases-loaded two outs and a 2 run game late. Matchups only go so far. Sometimes u gotta go with your best regardless. Mat Clark had lost some control. Imagine leaving Clark out there to give up runs or more walks? Fans including me would be ? that
