our best game since the Danny Ford days and when Walker played for UGA. Not saying we will win it - but I expect one #### of a dawgfight - did I just say dawgfight?

excitement of the teams and raucous fans in Death Valley will be memorable for those younger Tigers unfamiliar with this age-old rivalry.

Hold onto your seats, Friends....This game will prove why it's a shame that it won't continue. No doubt, a lot of the older Tigers will agree that we have anticipated the Clemson/Georgia match-ups over the years more than most others, save for our games against the Gamecocks!

It's even better because we have months to hype it and look forward to it. It's a HUUUUGE game, obviously, but making it the season opener makes it even bigger.

I have a 1,000 season simulator so if you want to put some victory likelihood percentages down and leave a comment I can run it through. Check it out, it's real neat.

Then, and only then can you realize the ferocity of what you will see in the Valley on Aug 31st!!

When the obnoxious Red/Black hoard invades the Valley for a nightime epic clash....

I've gotta admit... as a coot, I'm pretty excited about watching this game. I think it will tell us a lot about both teams.

With that said, I hope yall go into about 7 or 8 OTs and get the dawgs worn out for the following week.
