Regional Round: Importance of Game 1 cannot be overstated

You do NOT want to lose your opener and be sent to the Loser's Bracket. No matter where you're playing, or what you're seeded. To lose on Friday & advance to a Super Regional, you'll need to win 4 consecutive games – one on Saturday, two on Sunday, and another on Monday. Its not really discussed much since the 1 Seeds often play smaller programs, but it may just be the most important single game of the Postseason
