consistently. First "Clemsoning" meant losing to an unranked, lesser opponent (like 2011 NC State). Now it just means losing. Pick one.

Apparently you have to win the National Championship at 14-0

to avoid this.
The definition use to be unexpectedly losings to unranked opponents.
The last time CU lost to an unranked opponent, Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins were freshmen.
Is there anyone on Clemson's team that has lost to an unranked opponent?

They easily have one of THE worst sports sections and sports "writers" in the nation.
I live in DC and many of us, especially Redskins fans, HATE the WAPO.

That term was used to describe a team being on the losing...

end of an upset. We were not favored so it isn't applicable. Writers and the football fans in general are lashing out because Clemson let them down. They had political correctness issue when picking the team they wanted to win. They just wanted to punish FSU for tolorating a rapist and ignoring such a PR disaster.
We let them down, suck it PR ######. We have enough bandwagon fans without a bunch of whineazzed yankees overloading the cart.

Some people love to hate. They hate us because we run a "clean" program and Dabo is an outspoken Christian. Just like the sort of hate they have for Tim Tebow. It defies understanding how people can hate for something so personal as a person's faith. Just my opinion.

Well, these ######## can write what they want. But, this was not an example of Clemsoning. Clemsoning is losing inexplicably to a team that we were heavily favored over. Clemson was a 10 point underdog to #1 ranked Fla State on their own field. Clemson made a number of mistakes that lost a game that could have been won, but that is NOT Clemsoning, by definition. So, this writer if full of $h1t.

Losing to the #1 ranked team at their place

Is "Clemsoning?" Theoretically, isn't that THE most difficult game in college football?
Confused as to how Clemson is the only team expected to come up short. It's amazing the infatuation those like Paul Finebaum and others have for Clemson if we $uck so bad.

sees that we humiliate ourselves in more fantastic and conspicuous fashion than any other sports team anywhere. You guys gotta see that loss for what it was. It was a comical freak show if epic proportions.

You must no have watched K State on Thursday

Under legendary coach Bill Snyder. Or legendary coach Spurrier against TA&M, or Florida a few years back, or Tennessee last year. Or "elite" coach Urban at home against untamed Va Tech.
I'm guessing you just don't watch much college football in general. That, or you're not being very objective. We lost two games on the road we weren't expected to.

I watch college college football as much as a person can.

That doesn't qualify me as an expert but I follow nearly all the games and watch between 10-15 games on Saturday. So I see a lot of teams. I have 3 games running at the same time.
You guys in this thread are the ones being biased. Nobody inexplicably craps themselves as badly or as often as we do on the big stage. Take a hint from the rest of the country. it's not some conspiracy that we have this reputation.
The way we lose is insane, and for us, predictable.
