Tee Higgins...

Over/under 200 lbs at the weigh-in? At 6'5" he is thin but it sounds like he has put on some good weight. Think he is up to the 200's, yet?
I'm excited to see if Tee can have an instant impact. Would like to know your thoughts?

I think he starts 1st game, he looks like an AJ Green clone.
I think these three start:
Cain Higgins Renfrow

McCloud will have a big year. Higgins will not start. You probably already penciled in Trevor Lawrence as starting QB next year, huh?

if he is not 185 on the scales in a few days, he will be after 4 weeks of summer workouts.

Players don't lose weight like they use to during fall camp. 1st they've been running and working out in the heat all summer and come ready to play from a conditioning stand point. 2nd practice isn't built around conditioning the way it use to be; if player shows up way out of shape he will not play these days. 3rd no more 2 a days it's 1 practice a day. 4th every players weights before and after practice and that information is emailed to the nutritionist who tailors a diet based on a target weight. 5th they get all the water they want during practice.

unless he has been eating Doritos all summer, that tends to come off in a hurry

This would be true if we didn't have a state of the art nutrition system. Every aspect of their health is monitored...calories, macros, micros, exercise, recovery...there is even a company following their sleep.
Basically whatever the coaches want to happen to each player during camp (whether it is gain or lose weight) will happen.

My prediction is 203. He is gaining good weight... fast. He's AJ Green 2.0.

I predict a redshirt.
As talented as he is, he doesn't have elite speed and he's scrawny. Just getting off the line in press coverage will be a challenge for him at first. And, we've got other really good veterans ahead of him.
I think he'll be a great one before all is said and done, but I think Amari has a much better chance at contributing this fall than Tee.

Nuk ran a 4.57 at the combine in comparison, and he isn't exactly considered a burner.

You don't redshirt guys like Higgins. There's a better

chance of him leaving after 3 years than staying all 5. The extra year of eligibility is wasted the majority of the time with players of his caliber. It's just more effective to have him out there getting some reps when possible so he's ready to step in next year, if not at some point this year.

For him to start he'd have to be incredible

I think he's going to be be a great one, but I doubt he'll pass over Diondre Overton whose 6'5" and Trevion Thompson whose 6'2" both of whom have more experience in the system.
If he doesn't redshirt he'll get some playing time for development...but I don't see him starting.
Would love to be wrong though.

These young receivers need to be strong, grown men before being put on the field. Injury that end a dream is sad.
