Let's discuss how the SEC rankings in the polls are

based entirely on one team: Ole Miss. A team that lost to Memphis on Saturday, which should ripple back through the rankings and bring everyone back to earth but inexplicably hasn't...

Pollsters were so quick to have the Bama win validate Ole Miss and then any loss by Ole Miss validate whoever beat them. No one wants to take a step back and consider the fact that maybe Ole Miss isn't that good and Bama is a mortal team this year (and has been for 3 seasons).

TAMU beats an overrated SC team and jumped into or near the top 10
Miss St beats an overrated LSU AND then an overrated TAMU team and soars to #1.


Its all one giant circlejerk.

Biggest Jumps in the polls this season:

Ole Miss jumps 12 spots (week 3-4)

Florida Jumps 14 spots (week 6-7)

The polls have a very strong SEC bias which is probably why Clemson was jumped in the polls. Had to have an SEC team in the top 5 in my opinion.
