For those worried about starting a Freshman at Left tackle?

Not to worry. Alabama started a true freshman last year, Cam Robinson, at left tackle. If those 'also rans' can do it, we can do it better...

out of the 120ish FBS schools. I think Hyatt can be one of those, but it's not like this is a common thing.

I don't think Martez Ivey (the tackle rated above Hyatt by all services) is capable of doing so. Athletic, but poor technique. Hyatt should be able to though.

I think he's penciled in to start at RT for Florida, which doesn't require as much refined pass blocking technique.

I legitimately wonder how Florida f'ed up so badly with their football program. They have the championships, resources, recruiting base, and fanbase to be an every-year contender like Alabama or Ohio State, yet they struggle to field a competent team now. Their recruiting isn't even that bad if you look at ranks and the players they're getting and they send plenty of guys to the NFL; somewhere in between, it just falls apart and has done so ever since Urban left.

Don't sleep on Fruhmorgen and Noah!
Fru- Top 10 in Country out of HS and like Hyatt comes from good program (Plant)..
Big Mac or Maverick might be able to play some tackle as well with perhaps Jay G getting some time playing guard as an option??
