Spencer Region

I saw that the kid had hip surgery back in April, or so. Anyone know how the kid is doing? Is he going to make weight and actually contribute to the team, or does he need to go?

I think that is a scholarship that Dabo wishes he had back. Spencer is glad he didn't sign with Bama or the coots. If he had, he would've been back home way before now.

I heard he will never see the field. His weight just got to out of control. He has tried but it is just not working out. Especially with this offense.

and educating someone for four years when they don't even see the field? The worst part is losing the scholarship on signing day for the next four years.

We should be the top recruiting school in the country.

Was excited when he chose us but for him not be able to control his weight is unacceptable. Not saying we should've pulled his scholarship necessarily but I ask, what motivates guys like him to do what is right? Certain the coaches and team leaders stayed on him. Maybe we need to hire a Marine drill sergeant as our weight "coach" and give the sarge free reign to "motivate" as needed.
