In person does not necessarily match a personality as a coach. I think about Bobby Knight off the top of my head. My perception is that CBB is rather low key as well, but so are many other coaches.

A press release apology is worth diddly squat. Dabo confirmed Brad reached out to him and apologized. Private matters should stay private and the less this issue is in the news the better for all of Clemson Nation

Brad apologized to Dabo, which was a classy move.
I’m not sure what you expected from Brad at this point, but this issue is still very much being investigated and I am confident that lawyers for Brad and Clemson have invoked a gag order for the time being while things get sorted out.
Brad will speak out about this when it is appropriate. The fact that he hasn’t has nothing to do with him being boring or not defending the program, and everything to do with him being very smart about handling this delicate situation the proper way.
