also just being honest here: it's a lateral move at best from oregon to clemson as OC

oregon would match any clemson offer $ wise

Wow I love that idea. Didn't realize he only made that much. Bad part is we would have to outbid him because it certainly looks like he is earning a pay raise this year.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he a position coach that was promoted once kelly left? If that's the case, why would we not just promote Jeff Scott? Yes this guy will have 2 yrs of experience as OC compared to Scott's 0 but Scott also is familiar with the area and a great recruiter. So I see no reason to go all the way to the west coast to get what we essentially have here.
