house the digital thermometer registered 105.3*. Now that's hot. It was kind of strange to say that it ONLY got up to 101.5* today.

108 degrees. Never seen that before. I fished from 1:30 to about 6;30 when we were blown off the water by a storm that literally came from nowhere. I drank 3 bottled waters and two Cokes. I am now home and enjoying a glass of tea. Have not been to the bathroom yet. It was some kind of hot. When the wind was blowing, you did not have a drop of sweat on you.

...growing up on a farm where we didn't have a single tractor with a cab until 1978, I was "aclimatized" to the heat. But now, at age 49 and having worked indoors since 1985, I am a wuss and can barely stand it :).

Went to TX. I go their a lot with my job. 104 to 110 is pretty normal for 10-12 day stretches multiple times every summer. Even with this heat wave I'll take SC's weather over that.

On National Geographic this morning it said that crews on cocaine submarines work in temperatures up to 160 degrees so lets stop complaining.
