Nothing"...until someone decides to make them into something...rightly or wrongly. Then, that "something" becomes moot, pro and con, depending upon allegiances. Might be why most coaches prefer their team members to remain low key...and save the statements for the fields of play.

In this case it took a long stretch of imagination to conjure up faults with Sammy's words; but, then again, the media is quite adept at stirring up controversy to generate buzz. We used to refer to such as "slow news days." lol

Your right, he was the darling of ESPN. But remember the comment was made about and towards the mighty SEC school that ESPN loves to hype up. All that crap about the SEC being so strong is BS! Until we have a true playoff system that will always be an opinion and not fact. I'm with you just SPOT THE D@#$ BALL!!!!!!

ME TOO!!

I'm like Athomas and some of the other guys and would rather have had this kept in just between our team and coaches.

Like granny always said, 'God gave us a two walls to keep our tounges from doing harm, one of ivory and the other flesh.' I still haven't found a way to unsay something, so it turned out she was right about that too.

Now the cat is out of the bag so our guys will just have to beat the 'mess,' out of uGAY and back Sammy up on this.

We'll drop half a c-note on these guys. Their D will be better than most of us think but our offense will overwhelm them start to finish.

ESPiN will be talking about how down uGAY is this year and how Coach Mark is on the hot seat already.
