Rahshaun Smith = Nkimdeche?????

I think not. Smith may end up somewhere else but I think he seems to have more class than RN. I sincerely hope Smith ends up at Clemson. I know he wants to enjoy the "whole" process and who can blame him. But he committed to Clemson for a reason. I personally feel he ends up being a Clemson Tiger.

girl or guy breaks off an engagement. The person who broke the engagement is back in the dating world and looking forward to going out with people, but there is absolutely one person they have no interest in dating and vice verse. Guess who that is? And even though there was something that made them o attractive they once got engaged, they are the one person that is no longer in the running.

This one is different from 95% of decommitments - Smith is still interested in attending Clemson and we are still arguably the favorite in this recruitment, despite what Maryland thinks.

I don't think recruiting is anything like dating. Smith just wants to enjoy his time in the spotlight. He's being courted by schools all over the nation and he probably just is interested in seeing everything that they have to offer. I'm not saying that he'll end up at Clemson but I think we're still in the lead for his services.

One of the dumbest comparisons in the history of cfb recruiting. A kid deciding he wants to enjoy the process of being recruited,ie.. taking official visits is nothing like two adults committing themselves to each other for life! Yeesh! You gots issues.

Just let him enjoy the process. If he's meant to be here, he will be.

Dabo summed it up best. We can't sit around and see if an athlete will continue be committed to us. We must pursue someone else of equal caliber while they are available. If we wait until just before signing day, that will be too late because the good ones will already have made their decision. Many good athletes want to play at Clemson.

Agree ... you can wait .. yes he could recommit but how do you know that he could change his mind again. Trust that he does sign on signing date and signs somewhere else or go get someone that really wants to be here and not influenced by the people that are out for themselves.
I say get the next one up! Dabo learned his lesson with King Nikimdeche and MISSTake!

kimbeechee made a total ### out of himself and his entire family IMO. I haven't seen that with Smith, so I wouldn't group those two together. In fact, I haven't seen anyone that I would group with the kimbeechee family. I don't even wish that jerk well, which is usually pretty normal. He crossed the line IMO, and there's no going back for him and his a-hole family.

Oh wait...I just thought of another a-hole like kimbeechee. Lane Kiffen. But he's not a player, so not sure if that counts the same for this conversation.

I agree. Kid just wants to enjoy the process as the #1 LB in the country, and he's doing it in a classy, heads up manner. I really like this kid. It's going to be cool seeing him recommit when all is said and done. He committed to us for a reason. He'll be back.....maybe with a friend or two.
If not, then he's still a class act in my book.
