Notre Dame Game

For those who were planning to attend the Notre Dame are you planning on cancelling your plans? Like many I already had flights and hotels books so now just wondering if it is even worth still going. Thought of spending the weekend in Chicago and at least visiting the campus?

Hopefully. Maybe.

Nope, cancelled our plans. Another time, another opportunity down the road. I would stay away from any major city, especially Chicago. GO TIGERS!

Canceled the hotel. Hoping they keep ‘22 game intact after all this virus fallout.

Campus is nice. South Bend is a dump. It has seen much better days

I had been holding a room and checking flights but finally cancelled plans this week. I will try to go up there in a couple of years.

Then again I live only 30 minutes (non-game day) from the stadium.

Unless things have changed, ND is not allowing visiting fans. Only Notre Dame students, faculty and staff will be admitted as stadium will be at 20% capacity. I think TNet ran a story on this over the last few weeks ago. If this holds true, then I'm assuming some form of ND identification will be needed. So my "going" may be limited to driving by the stadium with paw flags flying a few times and then driving back to the man cave.
Now I'm just sad.

2020 not looking good at this time but there is still a sliver of hope for those of us living nearby who have been waiting a long time for this event.

You could have a great weekend in Chicago.i haven’t been downtown since the riot a couple of weeks ago, don’t know if they’ve repaired the storefronts on Mag Mile, though. If you would like me to, I’ll drive down to the city and scope it out for you. Only 12 miles.

now live in Pickens, SC (for about 15 years or so), lived outside of Chicago when I was growing up. I had the opportunity to visit and even more recently got a trip to Wrigley in when my son was a baby.
I would be coming over from Buffalo (my wife's hometown) and she (and all of her family) are ND alumni.
I was really looking forward to the trip, will see what happens.
I would love to tailgate with you, and any other Tigers on this board who are making the trip. I have table, tents, flags, etc.
