Are There No Longer Defenses in College Football?...

It seems like these football games with basketball scores have become a regular occurrence in recent years. Previously, such scores were limited to non-BCS conferences like the WAC or Mountain West. Today, teams from major conferences produce X-Box scores.

teams not putting together solid defenses. It has more to do with more and more teams running uptempo offenses like Morris's. I think that has made it tougher on defenses in general.

run. Teams used to run 60 plays a game, and now teams like Clemson are frequently running close to 90. Also, there's so much more sophistication that it's just plain harder to stop good offenses.

But they lost last week to TA&M. So Defense isnt everything.
TA&M let LaTech score in the high 50s on them, but they still beat Bama with that "crappy" defense!

Uh..yes. There will be one in the house next week. Yielded under 170 total yds to the Tigers last year.
