Not Brownell's Fault

Why do you folks blame BB. When you turn the ball over you lose leads. Look folks as I said before for 50 years this program is snakebit. It is simply Clemson Basketball no matter who the Coach is--it does not matter. In 1980 when we went to the Elite 8 we lost to an inferior UCLA team. In 1990 we lose on a half-court desperation shot in the Sweet 16. This year we are a team that wins IF we hit 3 pointers all night but we have no inside reliable scoring. This loss tonight only stings because we blew a big lead in the second half.It is NOT BB fault. It is simply CLEMSON BASKETBALL !!

Spot on we had over 20 turnovers in I think the second half? Trapp was just handing them turnovers. We had traveling turnover bc 2 clemson players we fighting for the ball against each other, we got a turnover for 5 sec not getting it inbounds late, we lost the ball on drives, and multiple other walks those turnovers were pure player mistakes. We were turning the ball over in the 2nd half like it was our job, we handed them this game due to dumb mistake turnovers plain and simple. We had plenty of a cushion with 18 points, we kept going back up to 9 for awhile but time and time again we turned the ball over after they would missed a shot or we steal or off foul. I was very frustrated with dumb mistakes tonight nothing I thought coach BB could do about that.

So what? Just because a team loses a game doesn’t mean it’s the coach’s fault. You could have the best Coach in the world but if his team doesn’t execute they won’t win

I support the coach 100% but it probably would have been wise to use those fouls at the end of regulation rather than let the Noles drive the basket for easy shots.
