USC reportedly loses Alfy Hill from commitments

USC DE commitment Alfy Hill reportedly is going to go instead to UNC Pembroke after visiting there earlier this month. Hill attends Los Angeles Valley JC and is a native of Shallotte, NC. The Robesonian.com website, citing sources, reported Hill is headed to Pembroke after stops at Alabama, East Carolina, a junior college in Mississippi and the JC in California. Hill started at defensive end and linebacker this season before suffering a knee injury that ended his season. His departure leaves USC with 19 commitments for the 2013 class.

I went there my freshman year...I'm from the area and they didn't have a Chik-fil-A but I heard the town is growing quickly. The football team there is pretty new (<10 years).
I heard from a SCAR fan that he was a good player, but couldn't perform academically at the college level.

He didn't quality the first time out of HS. Then went to JC. Then transferred to another school.
