He is absolutely correct if he wants to stay status quo. They are supposedly an SEC team and all that entails, but name one player on that whole team that frightens you on a football field? Outside their punter, every team has Ray Guy against us! I'll wait!

Edwards is a great receiver IMO. A guy his size with the ability to make long plays with his feet is very impressive. I'm not sure how he compares to our receivers or anything, but he's a #### good player who would be even more of a stud had he come up in our system with our coaches.

amp was going to fare in columbia? He's done exactly what i figured he would. Be a 6,7,8 win coach.
He was basically an 7/8 win coach at UF where they were the Premier school in Florida at the time when he took over. So if he can't propel a shingle school like UF to anything but mediocre than how/why would he fare better at SCAR? i'm surprised they didn't take a chance on a young up and comer for some energy and unfamiliarity amongst their conference peers but..nope they just went and got a guy that couldn't get it done at a recruiting rich school like UF.
It would be like Dabo leaving and Clemson goes and grabs Dave Doeren.... what do you expect he's going to do here?

What they did is even worse than your example IMO. It would be similar IMO if NC State fires him, and then we picked him up. Say what you want about these SEC teams, but could anyone imagine Bama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, or Florida hiring someone as their head coach who had just been fired from another team in their division only 2 years prior? You're pretty much admitting that you're a mediocre program, and that you're content in remaining one whenever you make that hire.
