Not only does Brownell suck in bball recruiting

Now hes dragging us down in football recruiting! The new LJ isnt gonna call Tee Higgins, youre actually gonna have to do some work and do it yourself. I know its not your strong suit, but don't screw this up for Dabo and Co!

Your point was, and is, idiotic

It relied on a preconceived notion and the desire to grind an ax.
There is plenty to question and wonder about as to Brownell and how well his tenure has been (or will be) without inventing an issue to get upset over.

and so far Brownell has come up short. Now, finally it appears he is indeed building something, but whether it will translate into wins and measureable improvement remains to be seen. The "new" Littlejohn has got to help, and I hope we do finally see improvement.

I know our BBall team could beat the USUC football team in either sport, but is that really saying all that much?

Re: Malik William commits to Clemson

Got to be honest, I watched his highlight tape and was not very impressed. I've been involved for a long time in playing and coaching hoops at a competitive level, so for what it's worth, this is my take: 1) the release point on his jump shot is much too low to get it off consistently at the D1 level. Similar release to Seth Curry, but Malik is not nearly as quick with his gather and shoot time. 2) He needs to attack the rim stronger than his tape shows. Most of his layups were taken while he seemed to be avoiding contact. With his height and build, Malik should be initiating contact, especially at the high school level where most defenders are much smaller than him. 3) His jumping ability, speed, and strength need to increase at the collegiate level to compete with bigger and faster opponents. Those assets will be easier to build on if Malik is diligent in the weight room once he is on campus. He does seems to have a nice grasp of the game, and I love his quick defensive rebound to offense transition game. Malik is still a bit raw, but with solid coaching and some hard work, he's got the body to be a pretty good D1 player.
