Mackenzie Alexander and Duane Coleman are two

of the three players (other was Ronny Delusme played mostly special teams, 2001-2004) from my home county, Collier County Florida, who have played for Clemson recently.
I don't remember any other players except Alexander and Coleman getting into pre-game skirmishes for as long as I can remember. Both happened at bowl games, Coleman with a UT player before 2003 Peach and Alexander this year before the OK game.

I've been there as I recall -"we done smoked it " is the motto on the town seal.

There's a certain level of smartazzness in the "we done smoked it" response that's always made me laugh a bit. Like, if I got pulled over for the same thing I would hope I had the presence of mind to have such a logical response in order.

And my dad worked in Immokalee. He told me he used to drive with his seat laid back as far as it would go for fear of being shot on the way to work.

I won't ever forget Duane Coleman standing up for Clemson and smacking that Tennessee guy. He became one of my all time heroes after that.

D.C. May not have been our best running back ever, but I truly loved his spirit and the heart he played with. What's he up to these days?

When they finally got DC to calm down and focus he was a great player. Seemed he had to struggle pretty hard to get focused, you couldn't not like him
