I remember the '99 FSU game when the coaches lined Streeter up at Fullback, despite having a broken leg. They handed off to him, play after play, 1 yard, 4 yards, 7 yards, 5 yards. He carried the team on his back that day, despite the close loss and in what would later be coined Bowden Bowl 1.

LOL...thought of that game as well.

He earned a TON of respect and admiration from Tiger nation after that game. He's a fine young man and so fortunate he's currently a Tiger coach...

I remember him from the previous FSU game.
Was a shame we did not have the staff and all for him, either staff - his talent was caught in a Crossroads at Clemson and he still not only chose CU but got up from many blows. The man needed some protection in his playing days. There was no question of his talent and heart, just too little around him and he took some nasty blows.

He definitely had my respect. Our offensive line was not nearly up to current standards back then, and he got physically assaulted by the defense in several games. But he always picked himself back up and soldiered on.

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?
• Boss
