Jamison is not a prolific scorer

But if he was playing the 5 spot as a defender, shot blocker and rebounder it would free up Simms in the 4 spot (his natural position). Every player on the court does not need to be a three point shooter. Jamison's big body in the middle would shutdown a large number of the dribble drives to the rim and use him for screens instead of Simms. It also would cut down the fouls Simms commits and keep the best player for Clemson on the court.

He’d be a great TE on the football team.

I agree, he just needs another offseason to mature. He will be very helpful next season.

We needed a true point guard bad all year, too bad he doesn’t qualify until next year.( the transfer we couldn’t use)

We should be rated going into the season next year.

But he could be a good scorer, shot blocker, rebounder.
Not sure why CBB would not try and develop inside players. I would have a few minutes each half with Jemison at 5, hunter Tyson at 4, and sims at 3. (That is his correct position IMO.). Heck, bring in Grinde as a rebounder.
Try and win the inside.
CBB always seems to play small college ball of shoot lots of threes.
Kind of like Bowden in football, skill players, but weak offense and defense lines. You have to start with the bigs and have balance.

It is like BB has never even tried to do this.

Remember the days when we had Jamison, Widemann, and Woni to hold down the inside. The were like the Bad Boys of college basketball.
