An expanded, watered down ACC. Apples and oranges comparison IMHO. Cliff went against 4-5 potential national champions each year. Twice.

the league isn't watered down,not with the additions of Syracuse and Louisville...There was never a time when Cliff went against 4 or 5 legitimate National Champion Contenders each year(care to name them?), that is utter nonsense...Saying 3 would have been a stretch most years

Agreed, CM Shack.
Morris: You have got to be kidding..... There's not a conference in the country that can hold a candle to this version of the ACC. And I'm a Big Ten guy.
