We beat a team that beat ateam that lost to ODU. Beatins FSU will do more fot the SOS bu seasons end.

Haha Georgia Southern and GT coming away with wins makes Clemson look good. Hopefully Southern will be ranked next week.

Good post. Was pondering the same thing. In my view it definitely helps SOS in the now, but ultimately having a higher ranked coastal opponent that comes into the ACC championship game with no more than 2-losses would help a bit.

More of an academic exercise if the Tigers run the table. In all likelihood that only matters if we ended up going into the ACC championship with one loss.

Simply put, if Alabama and Clemson go undefeated it’s a given Alabama will be #1, Tigers#2/3, and populate the rest of the field from there. We end up in the same place regardless of the SOS if we win out.
