When my mid-winter bills (gas) bills were higher than mid-summer (electric) bills.

Why does SC have the most expensive natural gas prices? Can't find a good answer. I've HEARD it's to offset electric losses with VC Summer. Not sure though.

Cost per therm would be a much better comparison coupled with consumption.

Still higher than it should be but lower than 10 other states. (yes I know this is old but most recent I could find quickly)

or more higher than last year. Don't know why. I constantly hear about fracking and technology making gas cheaper, but I can't tell.

I only use about 200 therm/year, so I don't sweat it too much. But, I assume our Vogtle battle is not too dissimilar to VC Summer. At least we'll have the plant to offer cheaper power in the future.
