looking around at other websites, ND lost because of the rain and if it was a dry game they would have won....I could have sworn all week I heard how ND would destroy us in the trenches and the rain was a huge benefit to them.

There is some truth to that IMO - at least it is worth discussion. They dropped a lot of balls. But Scott dropped the TD pass, we threw an INT in the endzone, and missed a FG. If we would have been up 21-3 our O would have been more aggressive.

This was a textbook example of getting up and trying to hold on, and almost losing doing it.

We gave them first down twice on penalties when they would have punted. Our fans made a huge (or should I say uuuuuge) difference.
