is setting up really nicely for a Clemson win by like 7+?
I've been listening to a lot of national broadcasts and podcasts (not just the 4-letter network) over the last several days and there's way too much buzz around LSU.
It's very, very obvious to me that people have not watched Clemson play this year outside of some of the ACCCG and the Fiesta Bowl. Everyone knows our Big 4 on Offense (TL, ETN, Ross, Higgins) and Simmons and maybe Terrell on D but hardly anyone can even reel off most of our other starters. Meanwhile, they've got LSU's 2-deep memorized.
We need the D-line to step up big tonight (looking at YOU XT--channel Maliciah Goodman!) I feel good about Kendrick and Terrell, gotta get Wallace's best game and limit Muse and Turner's exposure in pass coverage but I refuse to believe Burrow is as invincible as he's made out to be. I also trust BV implicitly.
I also feel like ETN is going to play like a Man on a Mission: back in his home state, he's got the last Sugar Bowl performance to atone for, and he's got LSU players talking about how mediocre he is!

I really do. I think having been there and done it before is a big advantage. PLus the mental aspect of LSU hearing from everyone how they have nothing to worry about

drown out outside noise but you can't help the narrative to permeate things and that's this: LSU's offense is unstoppable so they'll win by a TD or more.
For Clemson, you gotta like that they're playing with all the expectations and pressure and we get to play with a chip on our shoulders!

I think your right, for Clemson to win it starts with the D-line getting pressure without bringing help, and keeping Burrow contained. If he scrambles out of the pocket, he will usually find an open receiver or can run. If Clemson can't get pressure, like any good QB, Joe will pick you apart.

Hate to say it but I usually get a gut feeling one way or the other but I basically haven't got a clue! Until, I went to eat Chinese food today and got my fortune cookie and it didn't have a fortune in it! So I'm am taking it as i'm owed a good fortune. Go Clemson Tigers!

I can see this going back and forth like the 2106 Bama game - with the same result - TL & the Tigers find a way to get it done at the end.
