If ACC didn't get anything for ND's non-BCS bowls, then Swofford is a lot dumber than we all thought. That would cost the league money, with nothing in return. ACC will get their share.

Goes into the bowl money only if it is a BCS bowl. Swaffie said nothing about regular bowls.

ND isn't eligible for our spot in the BCS.

Their tie in was for the lesser bowls. If they qualify the OB may select them (at least for the life of the BCS) as opponents for the ACC champs. They will also be involved in the lesser bowls.

That's the way it reads if all I've read is accurate and nobody misspoke.
