I would not be surprised to see Kirby Smart...

reach out to GT about their vacancy. The opportunity to coach in the ACC, be in the fertile Atlanta recruiting area, and coach for a school that’s won a NC in the modern era of college football may be too much for him to pass up.

He got Butch, McElwain, and Paul Johnson replaced.

He's working on Saban this week.

Good luck with that.

Is this a joke?***

Saban will spank him severely.

I would agree with you except that Kirby is not that

One advantage you also missed is less distraction from the wimminz

Just my opinion, but leaving UGA for Tech would not be a "Smart" move. He has Georgia going in the right direction and leaving a school with a pretty good football heritage, even won that did win a N C serves him no purpose.

Is this what you call moving in the right direction?

He’s reached his ceiling at UGA.

And it’s not his fault, it’s just impossible to win a NC at UGA... just ask Mark Richt.

Kirby does not have his hands tied like Right did. The Jan Kemp mania is OVER. They are ready to win one at all costs.

having better talent to work with in Atlanta seems like it would be a really tough opportunity to pass up. May be one day whens athens turns into a real city they can compete with Atlanta, but that probably will not be in Kirby's lifetime.

You should never chalk up to conspiracy what you can reliably attribute to stupidity. Because stupidity is a much more powerful force in the course of human events.

I agree. If those overpaid nerds would just come off the hip

Nah. He's already slated to be Saban's replacement when he retires.
