I was just conducting my weekly recruiting analysis

and noticed that Georgia has pretty much dropped off the map, in being ranked well behind power houses like UNC, Tenn, Maryland, Rutgers, Wisconsin, and a host of others in the 2021 rankings. Word has gotten around at the camps about Kirby Smart and what is going on down at that program. This is just the first sign that their trajectory is in sharp decline.
I hate to see programs go up in flames this quickly, but what we are witnessing could toast a lot of marshmallows come fall. It is that bad.

You are going to give Dawg the "Big One". He will respond very shortly to you and educate you on the UGA program and how great it is.

It will be quite a big change for them to do less with less, as they always have had to do less with more. I expect they can adapt, though.

They have adapted for the past 40 years with top recruiting classes without a Natty to show for them. It appears they are happy with bragging about having the top recruiting classes without the Natty's to show for it. They are a strange people those Dog fans are!!!

Indeed, they are! They seem to be always on the cusp of being something special, but they just can't get it done. That makes me very happy.

I’m no uga fan at all. Don’t like them and never have but if you look at the top players uncommitted to this point, they have many leans that could put them in the final ranking as a top four class.

They are hoping to be a perennial Wisconsin type team, but they have a ways to go.

I would not doubt the ugay check books will open the door to several big recruits who ultimately will not add much in the way of success, but it surely will make them look great on paper.

After this next season he will be on the hot seat. There are grumblings he is now from the boosters. That fake FG to Fields holding on the 50 yard line really made the boosters lose confidence. Fields saw the sinking ship and got out while he could. I remember reading Fields lips as he was walking off the field. "My coach is an idiot. Get me out of here." That's what he stated. It's bad down there.

I was just on ESPN's CFB Home page

I had to scroll down the main page for 5 minutes until I saw an article written about UGA, and that was a player getting arrested on a felony charge. It is almost like ESPN is actively doing their best to NOT write about their football program.

As him being a HC, I can agree with you bc, he hasn't been the kind of HC expected of him to this point in his head coaching career. But I will give him his credit due, he was a pretty good DC for Saban at Alabama....

He was, but with all the talent he had to work with, even I might have been a good DC at AL. Just saying.

They got beat by the worse team in power 5 football at home last season to a team who only had 1 other power 5 win all season. I’m surprised the vacuum cleaner still has a job.

You are so on target, but living among these delusional ugay fans who think they still belong due to a 40 year old fluke brought on by a single player who would have been a Clemson Tiger, but for the "incentives" given to his parents (and to him, to his sister, and to who knows who else was in on it) wouldn't have that trophy, either. Yes, they are much like the coots who cling onto those members of the conference with some semblance of relevance. Comical, really, but sad at the same time, having been brought up not to poke fun of those less fortunate.

They couldn’t win the big games (or even beat the USuck coots last season) with having at least a Top 3 recruiting class since Kirby’s been there.......just proves he can recruit but can’t coach.....and guess he can’t even recruit anymore......not good for the bull puppies......Go Tigers!!!!!

As bad as things are for UGa, its much worse at uof6c...

They're barely ranked inside the top 60, the athletic department is on the verge of bankruptcy, they can't afford to buyout a floundering coach, they're staring straight down the barrel at another season of fewer than six wins including a 7th consecutive loss to Clemson, and at the rate things are going, it may be another 10 to 15 years before they can come even remotely close to competing with Clemson again.
It must really suck to be them.

Recruits are finally seeing how pointless it is hoisting the recruiting national championship trophy along with the pre-season national championship trophy every year and GA can’t even sniff the only trophy that counts. They want actual hardware.
