Honey, this is the last one I promise

Apr 24, 2020, 9:00 AM

Had been wanting one of these "hand cannons" since I first saw one in the 80's at the NEX on Camp Lejeune. Brand new in the box $650. Well fast forward 35 or so years and I found one, 50cal Desert Eagle, most powerful autoloader made.

monter le cheval de fer
A coot will usually blink when hit in the head with a ball-peen hammer

I kind of prefer the golden gun personally.***

I thought you were talking about those cannons we made back

in the 70,s by cutting the tops and bottoms out of Shlitz beer cans, duct taping them together, pouring a little lighter fluid into each end (Well, the base end you had to specially prepare) and lighting it!!

Youngsters, when you did it right, it would make one heckuva racket!!!

I had forgotten about the tennis ball cannons. I remember someone who will not be named firing one down the length of the hall on E3. Good times.

Did that with a couple of other guys and used lighter fluid and a large Super Ball. Fired it from the Upper Quad and it went over the top of the Loggia. Never found where the ball went.

Tiger Band 70-74

Got to shoot one a few years ago...

Apr 24, 2020, 9:25 AM

It's a big powerful heavy recoiling gun.

It was a bit of a bear to shoot and would take some practice to get really comfortable and accurate with it.

Great looking handgun but to me, it's more of a collectors gun than a shooters gun.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I thought you had picked up one of these.............

Fired a couple. Too big for my hand in reality. My S&W 460 is a beast too but more ergonomic. The Paris Island Exchange sure got plenty of business from me.
