leave one place and potentially spread a deadly virus to others. Imo, official are obligated to prevent that from happening.

last week the virus was not a big deal with expected death counts to be less than 1000 per some of our resident virologists, one of whom is almost always wrong about everything.

Prod said “many thousands” which most reasonable people would assume to mean several thousand. Like 3, 4, 5000.
Off the cuff I said “I’ll take the under” and left it at that. Prod even clarified he was thinking 3000+.
We are at 2490 now. That’s under “many thousands”. I live in tvape’s head and he’s never been right on anything I’ve challenged him on, so on this meaningless throw away response I gave, he’s distorted it into me being adamant that we would have less than 1,000 deaths and he can now feel good about himself for 3 minutes today.
Now comes the fun part where he edits his post 5 times to indicate he meant something else.

but would the Interstate Commerce Clause come into play here if the federal government wanted to curb this type of behavior from the states?
Don't get me wrong, I know it would be very controversial and would probably end up in the USSC, but it may provide leverage if states start refusing to allow travel outside to inside of their own borders.
