Lance Thompson and Josh Belk.

It was rumored that Lance Thompson was still making contact with Belk and his family while enrolled at Clemson. Real funny now that Thompson is let go and now Belk is leaving. Maybe they going to be over the road truck drivers together. What do you think?

that Lance was in touch with Belk and his family. Any contact after he signed his LOI in Dec was TAMERING.

It said whoever gets the job will inherit a stocked cupboard of blue chippers.
ROFL !!!!!
What it should have said was that whoever gets the job will be coaching a team that will be lucky to finish the 2019 season with a .500 record and will likely be in the market for a new head coach after the 2020 season.

DL is an area they've done OK in recruiting (OL is decent too):
blue chip chicken DL: 4 in 2019, 2 in 2018, 2 in 2017, 1 in 2016
This cycle was an anomaly for us with only one blue chip DL:
blue chip tiger DL: 1 in 2019, 4 in 2018 (including belk), 2 in 2017, 3 in 2016
Big difference in how they play after they get there, though.

If Thompson did keep in contact with Belk, I think in the long run, he did the Tigers a favor by getting him out of here before he caused problems.
