If we continue to play like we did last night.

What a tool.

I get that we didn't do much of anything for 10 minutes. But here's why that doesn't bother me:

1. The game is 60 minutes long.
2. It was Wake, and it's very hard to get hyped for them. That's not an excuse, that's just being human. Mickey made a good point this morning, do you cheer as hard against Furmans and Ball States as you do FSU, GT, etc.?
3. 2011 Maryland game. How far were we down at 1 point in that game? Well I know we played terribly for a while, but obviously came back and won by 2 possessions.
4. A lot of things can change in a football game, and from week to week. Each game is it's own entity. If that wasn't the case, West Virginia would have score 60 points in their last 2 games.
5. It was a while before we threw the ball more than 5 yards down the field. And when we did, we were very successful (see: Sammy breaks Clemson receiving record). Play calling is probably the most fixable thing in football.

The point is, we dominated a game we should have dominated, even if it wasn't a complete game. We all know this was a game Clemson was set up perfectly to lose in past years, but Dabo has changed that. I don't fear these kinds of games anymore. Walt is completely overreacting. We came out strong against FSU did we not? We are capable of playing well at any point in a game. But all that matters is: Just win, baby.

Deptula is just an angry obnoxious coothomer in denial... HE will shut his mouth once those coots get fried in the valley this year... No actually he wont.. he will try to find a way to be right. He should move to Cootlumbia!
