I fear that Louisville is going to come after Morris.

It's a great opportunity for Morris and it makes too much sense for Louisville to pass up. They have gone after top coordinators in the past. Also, Louisville is coming to the ACC. Chad knows the conference. It is a good fit for both parties.

Jeff Scott is in Morris' back pocket being groomed for the OC job when The Chad leaves.

Chad as OC for Texas. More money and better steeping stone to HC back in his stomping ground.

I hope not! CCM is in a pretty dang good position

here at CU. He's making $1.3M/year as an assistant and doesn't have to deal with many of the extra stress of being the HC. Not that I think he wouldn't take a HC job somewhere at some point, but I truly feel CCM will be here for at least another few years. I think he wants to see his O with Watson at the helm.....I know I do. I really hope I'm right! However, if the man gets the offer he wants, he has certainly earned it. I'll definitely enjoy him while we have him.

Louisville is pretty darn good. Lots of money, a program on the rise. And all you have to do is have a winning record to stay. Lose to Clemson and Fsu every year and they will still love you. And as for advancement, Strong is going to Texas.

But him going to Texas won't happen. Other than the fact that Strong will prob attempt to bring his current staff with him, Chad won't make as much money as coordinator with anyone else.

short term options I see for The Chad. 1. Get offered and leave to be Texas OC. 2. Get offered and leave for Louisville HC job. 3. Stay at Clemson for indefinite period. 4. Remain at Clemson until GA Tech fires CPJ and try to become their HC (don't be surprised if this occurs in the next 12 months).

Louisville has more money, a bigger stadium (after the upcoming g expansion), and a better current roster of talent.

Morris is good but Strong was a D coord for a long time including a national champ at Fla before getting bigtime Div 1 job offers
I think Louisville may be a bigger job now than when Strong took it so Morris is safe at Clemson for now
