really out of line and an apology needed. When he said it I mumbled under my breath so mom couldn't hear me, "Yep!" Even the young lady (a beauty queen winner) said she saw it as a compliment. I just don't get it.

either. I guess it must have been offensive to all of the unattractive women watching at home for him to comment on her beauty, thereby pointing out their lack of the same...

that it was bad, just kind of creepy, and frankly, I know these folks are out in public, but it feels like an invasion of privacy when television just keeps going back to them over and over again. Show them once and then let them have some peace.
