That's not the only reason it's appropriate. Our program changing moment was at the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game against Alabama (shudder...remember every excruciating second having to be there to watch). That was before they won title after title. We essentially were their springboard back into greatness.

Meanwhile for Clemson was the moment when things imploded for the world to see, and a few games later we sent Bowden packing and gave the reigns to Dabo...who is conveniently from Alabama.

It's almost destiny Bill...no, IT IS our destiny.

I was thinking how appropriate it would be to thank them for helping getting Dabo on board by beating them for the National Championship. Go Tigers

I'm not sure Bama is the toughest team in football.

Bama had two dual threat QBs give them fits this season. One, of which, cause them five turnovers trying to keep up with the rapid fire scoring. Bama's D gave up 43 points to Old Miss who lost three regular season games primarily because those opponents could slow their offense enough to out score them.

Being versatile on defense should be one of the qualification for a team to be considered as the toughest team, IMO. Bama comes up short.
