'We' fans can act as obnoxious and overconfident as we want without affecting the outcome of the game.
The only thing affected would be our reputations.
I really doubt you are seeing overconfidence on the part of the coaches and players. Do you have any to share?

This isn't 2011 and Tommey Bowden has been gone for a while. We as fans can be over confident if we want to because we have ZERO impact on the game. Let's just hope the team stays focused.

Having said that, i don't think TL was overconfident in 2011...since he was only 11-12 years old.

Muscunt also said this was his most talented team ever. Just something to think about. I feel like they will come out and use every trick in the book on us but by the 2nd quarter they will realize it is useless.

Always worry about this game - bengal ... comes from being a fan for more than a half century- I guess... However - I think the media’s obsession with Dabo’s history before the WVa game distorted Dabo’s focus - I don’t think that’s the case now .. - ">

This is the beauty of how Dabo structures the season.
This game is a season goal game.
It’s an orange britches game.
Oh yeah... Venables is embarrassed by last year’s defensive performance.
You never know... but I’m expecting this team to be confident and focused.
