Both have decent Os and bad Ds.
I hope DV is really a big advantage.
If DW can't play look for about the same kind of game as at GT.

But the only way for Cole to not throw picks is run every play. They will load the box and dare us to throw. If Cole plays our D can't give up more than 10 if we are to have a chance.

Like the other poster said, 2 pick 6's was a big difference. One of them we were about to go up 10-0 or 6-0. that was a huge swing. Obviously DW getting hurt altered the game greatly too

Those two teams are nowhere near a comparison. GT would beat the Coots by 20 with every Coot starter healthy . Coots can't stop anyone.

Actually It was 22 yards on 15 carries.

But supposedly (If you believe the SC fans), Davis was "hurt" (foot injury).
Shaw had close to 100 yards.
Given Thompon's lack of mobility, Clemson better be prepared to stop Cooper in the Wildcat.

As per F/+ ratings, GT's defense is 61, and SC's defense is 121 (Bottom 10).
According to this, GT's defense isn't great. SC's defense, on the other hand, is terrible and one of the worst in the FBS. They've had some games where they were torched for 600+ yards.
On the other hand, SC's offense is 7 and GT's offense is 2, so their offenses are Top 10. If our defense plays as well as they did last week, they should be able to hold SC to around the mid 20's and less than 450 yards.
The fewest points SC has scored this year up to this point was 20 in their loss to Missouri.
Against a SC defense that has given up 500-600+ yards in some games this year, there is no way we have the kind of game that we had last week even w/o DW.

Nice assessment. Except you lost to 3 unranked teams. aTm by like 40. Game over if DW starts. Let's face it. Sportier pulled out his last bag of tricks v UF before retirement.

What bag of tricks? I didn't see any trick plays and their defense held UF to under 300 yards. The same UF that rolled up 400+ yards vs. UGA on the ground. I'm afraid the coots may have started to find their stride on D. Can't see us beating them this year- again. SMH...
