Don't base on the team rankings version this early...I believe that one is a "to date" combined one...notice they also have a future SOS on there, where Clemson is WAY below everyone in the top 6.

Better one to look at is the NCAA S&P FEI Strength of Schedules, which the S&P is one of the better ranking systems out there...takes into account every measurable, including removing garbage time stuff and rating explosiveness:

We'd have a conf championship under our belt, a quality away win against TA&M, NCS at home, and whomever is in the ACCCG. SCar could possibly be ranked again by the time we play them, too. They're still SEC and we know how the voters & media feel about pretty much anyone in that conference. I think we really need to manhandle FSU in Tally this year, though. No more close games to subpar teams. Any more close games to poor teams could be viewed almost the same as a loss to the voters.

So far, the eye test has been pretty poor with all but Wake, and GS and Furman don't count!!!
