For those pointing to VT putting DBs in NFL...what about us?

We've put plenty in lately as well. I guess people forget about Hamlin, Gilchrist, Sensabaugh, Butler, McDaniel (injury screwed his draft up but he's playing), Hill, Miller just signed again, etc. We have a good amount of DB in the NFL at this point as well.
For those talking about 2*'s being developed at VT when Coty signed none of us would have dreamed of the production he'd end up giving us or that he'd be drafted. We develop the position well and it has been a long time since DB has been a weakness at Clemson

In my opinion, we have the best set of coaches top to bottom that we have ever had at Clemson!

I read where vt fans were not giving us any credit at all about DB's that we have sent to the nfl. We have sent plenty of DB's to the nfl. It made no sense. I wish I could name them all but I would be here all weekend!

VT's biggest war cry in recruiting is that they send guys to the NFL on Defense. I guess they forget about all the first rounders we send and all the guys we develop. Gaines Adams (RIP) and Branch were both 2* guys. Both ended up turning into monsters and going high in the draft. Our linebacker that was a 2* was a pro bowler for the Colts two years ago. We send about as many into the league as anyone. Over the last 6 years or so we have about as much success on the DL and DB as anyone at sending guys into the league. VT will always try to play that card though yet it isn't valid as they don't send anymore in than other teams

1 1st rounder, 2 2nd rounders, 1 4th rounder, 3 5th rounders, and a sixth rounder since 2005.
1st- Hill (2006)
2nd- Miller (2005), Gilchrist (2011)
4th- Sensabaugh (2012)
5th- Clemmons (2008), Hamlin (2008), Butler (2010)
6th- Maxwell (2011)

Deangelo Hall has been around for a while, but he has bounced around from team to team, so he has been average at best.
