getting into the stadium will be a PITA.

Normally is not easy, security checks.

Now we have POTUS attending plus the crap in Iraq/Iran.

Veterans of attending games there say they will get in line maybe by 3pm, know you will wait an hour maybe in rain and threat of up to 3 hr wait.

the wait outside was about an hour. Wouldn't have been too bad ordinarily but it was very cold and windy.

Yea it did seem to take awhile to get in for the Sugar Bowl. We were there when gates opened and the lines were pretty long. It was freezing that weekend and very windy! Remember after the game it’s impossible to get an Uber or taxi. Walked all the way back to hotel and after that loss wasn’t fun!

Any issues sneaking in minibottles?

I remember 2 years ago we got there in plenty of time, but it took close to an hour to get in.

w/ POTUS and Iran threats, it could be much worse.

Getting in mini bottles might work if they don't have metal caps, corks w/o metal wraps could get thru. I would plan to drink them all before entering, works well in line.

For those that don't know, drinking on the streets of NOLA is a tradition. Enjoy.

I'm sure security will be crazy, but I hope the LSU fans get there at 3pm. That would guarantee they'll be standing in line for at least an hour as the gates don't open until 4.
