It will take a year and to force the issue sooner will be disastrous for him. Everyone, slow down.

Andrews has a staff that does most of his surgeries. I have a niece who was scheduled to be operated on by him and the last second his office told her Andrews was having someone on his saff perform the operation instead of him.

Larry Bowman has been working with Clemson players for about 30 years now through several coaching staffs. He scoped my knee in the mid-90s. Who (with any actual knowledge of the situation)claims he "messed up" Da'Quan's knee? That's a pretty serious statement to make.

wow - I can't believe he'll be ready by our first game. I'll have to wait and see that to believe it. I love his positive attitude though. Tough guy for sure.

It is possible he could be back in time for the first game. They have made a lot of strides recently with ACL surgeries, and it does not always take 6-9 months anymore to be fully cleared. Quite frequently a cadaver graft is used to reconstruct the ACL now instead of taking a graft from the patient's patellar tendon or hamstring. This is a much less invasive procedure and allows for a quicker recovery time. I am a Junior at Clemson and I had the cadaver graft reconstruction the summer after my Freshman year and I was fully cleared by my surgeon after 5 months and have had no problems at all. Like the above poster said, taking rehab seriously is the most important thing.

Mental recovery seems to take the longest

A lot of players have a hard time trusting their bodies after an injury like this. I don't think Chad will have that problem

Jim Kelly has decided who and where and I bet it is NOT Blue Ridge Ortho.
