That's an awfully wide brush to use to paint those of us that might be interested in tickets to a game here or there...some counter arguments/thoughts...

1) Don't assume those of us who don't have season tickets don't donate to IPTAY...that's a poor assumption

2) I live 9 hours away and have 2 kids under the age of 11 that are very active...does not make sense for me to buy season tickets.

3) That does not mean I'm a bandwagon fan...I owe pretty much everything in my life that I can't thank my parents for to Clemson--2 degrees, met my wife there, etc, etc...and I live and die with the Tigers on Saturday...
a) It also doesn't mean that I don't wish I could go to more games and get the urge to drive down whenever the chance presents...

b) It also doesn't mean that I can't decide that the going price is too high (thereby opening the door for the opponent to buy those tickets)

4) I can certainly wonder why a die hard fan would donate tons of money to IPTAY, pay for tickets, pay for parking, etc, etc go to most of the home games but decide they need to try to make that money back by selling tickets to one of the biggest games to ever be played at Death Valley...
a) I can also wonder why those folks, supposed non "worthless bandwagon fans", would want to make a few extra bucks from an ND fan vs. selling to a Clemson fan
b) I think most Clemson fans (and alums, like me) that would like to attend this game are willing to pay to go (dont' think many people feel like they should be given away)...but maybe not willing to spend 4-5x face value. For me, if I were able to attend (and I'm not because my daughter has a softball tournament Sunday that I wouldn't make it back in time for and I want to be there to watch her play and help coach) would have to spend a pretty penny to do so by the time you fly/drive down, pay $500 a night at a hotel, etc...

...and as it pertains to all of this...if anyone has 5 lower level tickets to the BC game they'd like to sell, hit me up (and I'll pay above face value even).

Wife, kids and brother are headed 'home' for homecoming!
