FSU schedules LSU for 2022 and 2023

2022 in New Orleans and 2023 in Orlando. Don't know why they just don't do home and home with those less than neutral "neutral" sites. This definitely quells talk of our supposed series with LSU in the near future. Can't imagine it being any sooner than 2021.

I imagine the Super Dome holds more than Deaf Valley

but why choose Orlando when FSU's stadium is much bigger

Dumb

oh no way

LSU's stadium holds over 100,000. Superdome holds about 77K

welp***

Actually Death Valley (west) seats about 20K more

Than the Superdome.

With ND on the schedule for 3 of the next 5 years I don't think the expectation was ever to have LSU or UGA prior to '24.

If I were an LSU or FSU fan, I’d be extremely p’d about this not being a home-and-home. Doesn’t make any sense.

me too... hate this “neutral site” trend

Nothing beats home games and it’s so much fun to go into a hostile road environment as a fan. I love both sides of home/home matchups so to sacrifice those for a less fun (least in my experience) game at a place with much less emotional attachment just doesn’t float my boat

I suspect this is a way for each to get an extra "home" game on the schedule. It will count as an away game but really be home.

I don't like neutral site games, but cannot atleast accept

a one off to fill an open slot every 5-10 years.. like Atl Kickoff with Aub. Otherwise I find them to be the bane of college football.

Actually, NO

This is a home and away series for LSU.

Mr. Radakovich Hoodwinked Again

LSU just used Clemson, thanks to Mr. Radakovich, as leverage to acquire a premium deal with the Superdome. I knew that LSU had no genuine interest in having a home and home with Clemson for several reasons.

Will LSU find a cure for the cramps by then?

Hoping we can we book Florida for '24-25 seasons -

they're schedule matches up well with ours for home / away. Not too many other great options out there for those years.

We might wind up having to go the neutral site route in 2021 though considering the ND scheduling. Maybe we can land a B1G team for Charlotte considering the Atlanta kick-off is booked through then.

Clemson was never looking at that time frame. The LSU/FSU series has no impact on Clemson/LSU
