Including Clemson is what I hear everytime I turn on ESPN or sporttalk...Finebaum, Bill King, etc.etc. We get zero respect. It should make Dabo mad. Let's hope!

USC fan here...
I hope people keep saying FSU didn't play anyone...
I hope Auburn becomes a HUGE favorite...
So when I bet on FSU, I win that much more.
FSU is going to roll Auburn by 3+ TDs.
A depleted Georgia team had Auburn beat...
Clemson beat a HEALTHY Georgia team.
FSU you rolled Clemson (I don't like reminding you guys of that, but it is relevant here).
Soooo....FSU is going to spank Auburn.
I still think from top to bottom the SEC is the best football conference based on our mid-level talent.
But top level (as in top 3 teams) SEC is not head and shoulders above everyone else anymore, despite what ESPN would have you believe.

I think they may beat Auburn by double digits, however,

There is nothing wrong with saying FSU played nobody, they didn't play anyone with a pulse but Clemson and as most on here say Tajh was off, the score got out of hand quickly and they caught Clemson on a bad day
Given all of that they had 1 team that was decent and they beat them. Now if they hand a beatdown to Auburn (who I am not sure is the #2 team in the country), They will have dominated everyone on the schedule and be a National Champ
However, until then the facts are they don't have a very good resume to date. Nothing wrong with people pointing it out. They are still the unanimous #1 voted team so people think they are deserving, just aren't ready to say they are world beaters until they win it all
Fair reporting I think, when they win we will not here the end of how FSU is back and the rest of college football revolves around Tallahassee

I kind of agree with that assessment. They haven't played a tough game all season. Clemson fans can call foul on that, but I was there and I don't think we presented them with any problems at all. They ran all over us at home.
I'm not on the FSU train yet. I'll wait and see what happens. I'm not saying Auburn is going to present them with the end all be all of tough games though. I think the game will shed a lot of light either way. We're either going to discover that FSU is the best team in the country for sure. Or we're going to find out that ... (dreaded) the SEC is a tough conference that consistently produces national champions.
I don't have stock in either team so I don't care. But it would be nice to see the mighty SEC get butt stomped by the ACC in the NCG. That said, I don't like FSU and will have a tough time pulling for them. Part of me wants them to lose every game they play for the rest of eternity.
I know - not good for Clemson ... blah blah blah. I get it.

Although they won't eat it. The SEC excuse machine will get going starting on that night.
But my worry is that FSU will beat them up and down the field but the miracles for Auburn won't cease.

Played Clemson at home and destroyed them. Beat an over rated Miami. The the all mighty Duke in the ACC champ game. Duke may have been the toughest game they played up to now.

Just lost by three scores to the only decent team they faced this year, and clearly don't deserve even a top 15 ranking... bc they also lost to you (who's highly overrated, seeing that you still haven't beaten any "quality opponents", yet have dropped 2 games to unranked teams.
You're ranking is unmerited and you belong in the chic-fil-a bowl, and with a loss at the hands of Duke (where they'd further strengthen their all-time dominance over usc jr's. football program.

Maybe we are a quality opponent? Maybe even exciting too, enough so for the country to be urged by nat'l pundits everywhere to tune in for this one.
