Interesting Stats

Dec 9, 2016, 11:57 AM

I checked out our 6 toughest games (Auburn, GT, Florida State, Louisville, Pitt, VT) and compared DeShaun's stats to Lamar's stats in their 6 toughest games (FSU, Clemson, Houston, Kentucky, Duke, Virginia) and found the numbers interesting:

DeShaun: 2104yds passing, 16td passes, 11ints, 293yds rushing, 2td for a total of 2397 total yards and 18 tds.

Lamar: 1545yds passing, 10tdpasses, 7ints, 741yds rushing, 9td for a total of 2286 total yards and 19 tds.

The biggest glaring difference is Clemson is 5-1 in our toughest games, while Louisville was 3-3. Clearly DeShaun is the better leader.

The fact that you put Duke and Virgina in their 'toughest' games list is very telling.

I would probably swap them with Wake and BC...but still...weak opponents.

Watson also has a much better supporting cast.***

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Herbstreit said that's not a valid point. Louisville has tons of talent as well. Look at all of the 3/4/5 * talent that has transferred to their program.

Good stats. Be sure to include
