You are the precise reason this tradition is in great danger. If you or someone else is injured, our unique tradition of meeting at the paw is going to be taken from us. Try to grow up a bit and not be such a child,

Not for nothing, but if you are past college age and have no small children to escort, should you still be rushing the field like a teen girl at a Justin Bieber appearance? Ask yourself what Gregory Peck would do. Leave this experience for the young people. Creepy drunk 50 yr olds approaching these kids is what scares them.

I do not rush the field anymore because my kid is grown now and I'm 45.
I just leave that to the students and give the Kids more room.

BTW: Frank Howard Field has been in place since 1942. No need to run--it's not going anywhere.

1 - Students after a big win. BTW after graduation you only get 2-3 years to continue acting like a student. (Got to grow up sometime)
2 - Young kids 2 to 10 escorted by their parents or grandparents. Our little fans love it!
3 - Older kids and teenagers 11 to 18 including recruits. It will always be cool to go down on the field and get that perspective of Death Valley.
4 - Parents and family of players
5 - 1st time fans and visitors
6 - Occasionally the rest of us - to bring back the memories when we were one of the other groups!

Let's responsibly preserve the tradition .
