I just think you sound dumb, especially as a Clemson grad, to publicly talk badly about a quarterback that basically demolished Clemson defense not even 2 years ago.
Excuse the frick out of me for wanting people to be genuinely honest with themselves & others.

You are missing the point. A good college QB simply does not necessarily equate to a good NFL QB. There is a reasonable chance that arguably the best QB in Clemson's history-- Tajh Boyd-- may never start a game in the NFL.
Manuel got by on his athletic ability and a talented cast at FSU. He is not a good enough passer or decision-maker to excel at the next level.

in your very next sentence when you say "COLLEGE" QB.
This is a college football forum, no?
This thread technically has absolutely nothing to do with Clemson Tiger Football.
Don't get me wrong, I despise FSU passionately. That is what has prompted me to suggest that people stop talking trash about FSU players in the NFL until they're actually beaten again in Clemson Tiger College Football like the name of this forum suggests, especially considering that FSU actually has a starting QB in the NFL on a team with the two best Clemson/ACC weapons in the history of mankind.
Basically what I'm saying is.....
You guys sound like coots.

Seriously, that defense stank out loud. Of course EJ rung it up.

college player whose opportunity in the NFL was based on potential, which was based on measurables and a good combine more than anything he did on the field.

I agree that he may not be able to get it done. I hope he turns out to be great.

He has tons of measurables but he's just not a good qb.
Reminds me of Ronald Curry for UNC. All-everything athlete that just was a liability at QB.
I think if you look at what Jameis Winston did with FSU shows you the potential that team has had with better QB play.

One of the worst 1st round picks of all-time. He is the reason FSU couldn't get over the hump and it took a talented FRESHMAN to step in with virtually the same team and win it. The Bills will never win with him there, 8-8 is the best-case scenario.

Didn't really have to be "talented" just not do dumb stuff and turn the ball over like EJ did.. lol.. I am not saying Jamesis is a terrible QB but that team was built to win 2 years ago.. They could have had back to back to back championships of they had a QB..

EJ Manuel never had the oline that Winston had....

Manuel actually played a good portion of his career behind a subpar oline. Winston looked that good because he had all day to throw and was barely touched all year.

Hate to say it but it might be a long year for Sammy. His QB could not throw it in the ocean standing knee deep! If Sammy ends up being the #1 WR for the Bills he will see the best DB from each team and with his sorry QB playing the way he does spells for a lot of frustration for sure! Last year the Bills ran the ball a lot due to this joke of a QB!

be better at running the ball again this year. He has a way of drawing attention in somebody's secondary.
