the Coots since the mid/late 1970's and continues today. Several prospects ended up at Clemson and Georgia, because they were so sure that Coots would get penalized because of the obvious favors that were given George Rogers. I do not think the coots even got a letter for reprimand.
Floyd has been on the BOT of USC for years and the chairman of Board since Micheal J. Mungo died. Mungo handled the western part of SC and Dr.Floyd handled the east side of SC.
For years, they were very powerful in Coots recruiting.
Only Dr.Floyd remains, but ask anyone from the Pee Dee; don't %&@% with Dr. Floyd.

Good surgeon. I took care of some of his patients when I worked in Florence about 13 years ago. I felt like the only Clemson fan in the pee dee. What about dr d smith. Isn't he on the board of trustees.

Yes sir! Dr. Dorn Smith is as fine a gentleman as you will ever meet. The type of guy that will break his back to help fellow South Carolinians, whether they be Coot or Tiger! Enjoys the rivalry and the banter, ribbing, and joking that accompanies it, without the hatred and vitriol. A true southern charm, and by far my favorite coot!

Yes, he claimed that the CPD was biased against USuC players. Even Michael Mungo, a fellow Board member, said that he was delusional.
